Barry Bridges is the author of The Mystic Farmer blog, has been mentioned in the credits of three CD's, and is a character in a comic book. His passion for the creative arts is reflected in the way he has inspired others in both creativity and social responsibility. He was the catalyst behind Last Saturday, a creative arts celebration formerly held the last Saturday of each month in cooperation with Common Ground San Antonio. His work with Last Saturday has inspired emerging photographers, writers, and musicians in the San Antonio art community.
The Mystic Farmer blog has inspired others in dialogue regarding relationships and social responsibility. The Mystic Farmer chronicles a year in the life of a salesman turned farmer who explores what one person can do to influence his world. The first ten segments of the Mystic Farmer blog are available as a discussion guide for conversations on relationships. Barry is available to speak on The Lost Art of Farming, helping organizations re-center on relational priorities.
Barry is a project management professional and a published technical writer. He has works in progress, including a sequal to the Mystic Farmer, science fiction novels exploring ethics, and a memoir. He is available to speak on some of the topics currently being explored in his writing.
